StampingPals Challenge #8 - Pack a Punch

Sometimes I overthink things and really need to just keep it simple.  I think this card works. For StampingPals Challenge #8 - Pack a Punch, the challenge was to use a craft punch to create our card.  I love the shapes that can be used without stamping.  This daisy can be used with or without the stamped images.  And I love the simplicity of it.The In Good Taste DSP is totally my fave this year and it looks great on all sorts of cards.  So classic!I love these challenges because everyone seems to have a totally different take on what to use and how to use it.  That's the beauty of stamping.  We can use the same idea and do it differently, or the same supplies, or whatever, and yet they all come out uniquely our own.  I hope you try it with us.  Hop on over to and see what the others have created!Enjoy!Product List Daisy Punch [143713] In Good Taste Designer Series Paper [152494] Gray Granite Classic Stampin' Pad [147118] Gray Granite 8-1/2" X 11" …

StampingPals Challenge #7

The StampingPals Challenge for September was to use at least three of the five new In Colors from Stampin' Up!  Does this mean I get bonus points for using all five?!  Just Jade, Misty Moonlight, Cinnamon Cider, Magenta Madness and Bumblebee.
I love this Have a Hoot set.  And it's fun to change the theme of a stamp.  This image has a spider hanging down from the tree but hearts are nicer, right?

StampingPals Challenge #6 (Sketch Challenge)

The August Challenge for our StampingPals group used a sketch which was easy enough to follow.  Elegant and simple is always good, right?  I'll always keep and use this Timeless Tropical set since I live on a tropical island.  It's so perfect for any occasion.  And during this pandemic, I've sent loads of "just because" cards to family and friends.  There's not much we can do to make this worldwide situation any easier but we CAN send a little cheer in the mail.
And if you are looking for a fun project, please hop over to and join our monthly challenge.  It's so fun, and we'd love to see your creations.

Stamping Pals Challenge #5 - My Favorite Bundle!

I always love looking through the new annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  This one has a special treat which just seems handpicked for me!  The "Nothing's Better Than" stamp set has awesome saying for those who love Coffee, Cocktails, Chocolate and COOKIES!  Since I started my own cookie business two years ago, I've been including handcrafted cards with each order as my thank you.  Now I have THE MOST AWESOME design ever!  I make amazingly delicious ginger snaps (in Original and in Spicy versions).  They are like none you've ever tasted.  And this stamp set is absolutely perfect for me.  Love, love, love!

I did use the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper because, well, I have lived on a tiny tropical island for 28 years and my packaging and logo reflect that fact.  So, this is definitely my new favorite card, my new favorite bundle, and I'm happy combining my love for papercrafting with my crazily delicious cookies.  Oh, and my delicious cookies are available…

Stampingpals Challenge #4

The Stampingpals Challenge used a color combination as the our challenge for June:  Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso, and Terracotta Tile.  These challenges are so fun, and we'd love for you to join in.

I'm totally in love with this new stamp set which will be available to all in a few weeks with our new 2020-2021 annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  The set is Tasteful Touches and has nine stamps (5 images and 4 sayings).  This set is more "artsy" than I usually choose, and it's lots of fun to just play!  Gotta say, I've been playing for two days now.  😍
And although I haven't used Terracotta Tile hardly at all since the color was released, I think it's lovely and I'm going to give it more attention.
And be sure to check out the other cards in this Challenge at!
